Venue
The conference will be held at Egerton University Njoro-Kenya at the Utafiti Hall Complex home to the Crop Management Research Training (CMRT) program for the African region. Egerton University is one of the oldest agricultural training institutions in East and Central Africa and is located in the Great Rift Valley, 22Km SW of the Nakuru Town. Nakuru is 160Km NW of Nairobi City and is easily accessible by road.
The Utafiti Hall Complex has a full range of services and facilities that include conference and training facilities halls with seated capacity of 50-100, research library with over 160 current journal titles in agriculture and related fields and other bibliographical databases via the Essential Electronic Agricultural Library (TEEAL).
The Complex also offers accomodation with 60 modern self-contained study bedrooms and dining services in the adjacent ARC Hotel, laundry services, secure car park within the complex grounds, reliable communication with direct telephone, fax, e-mail and internet facilities, a variety of recreation facilities which include out-door sporting facilities and comfortably furnished TV / video lounge.
