The Climate Change Adaptation in Africa (CCAA) research and capacity development program aims to improve the capacity of African countries to adapt to climate change in ways that benefit the most vulnerable.
The Conference will involve special plenary sessions, with presentations from renowned international researchers, scientists and research fellows on topics of climate change, covering recent advances in adaptation to climate change by pastoral communities in the dry-lands.
Other events will include roundtable discussions involving the scientific community and representatives of agencies working with pastoral communities, as well as members of pastoral communities and vulnerable groups in the dry- lands.
